Join us for Burglund Marketplace, an outdoor vendor market honoring Black History Month, happening

This special event celebrates the rich legacy of Black entrepreneurship; past and present. Burglund was once a thriving center of Black commerce, filled with locally owned cafés, grocery stores, hotels, and much, much, more. These businesses were more than places to shop or gather; they were symbols of economic independence and community pride. Residents supported one another through these establishments, making Burglund a lively hub where culture, entrepreneurship, and social life came together.

This marketplace honors that history while showcasing today’s entrepreneurs.
